The Blue Box is a chest-sized lab that provides georeferenced marine data and delivers the health of the marine environment to the community. At the Innovation Village will also start the operation “Adopt a mile”: anyone can become an actor for the protection of our seas through the actual adoption of a marine mile georeferenced.
The start-up was born in July 2020, in collaboration with the incubator I3P of the Polytechnic University of Turin, from the need to have marine and oceanic data georeferenced, integrated and usable through standardized databases in the Cloud, with interoperability features, Common vocabularies, best practices standards and industry ISO-compliant quality.
